What an amazing start to World Book Day! Our pupils were replaced by well-known book characters! We sat in groups to discuss our favourite books, describe our costumes and to read an extract from our book for others! Well done on the huge effort that was made by all!
World Book Day will be celebrated on the 2nd of March. We are hoping to dress up as our favourite character from a book this Thursday and engage in "Book Talk" about interesting novels we have read. The senior classes will model their reading fluency for the junior classes and engage in a buddy reading session with them! We look forward to fostering a love of literature and also having loads of fun along the way!!!
Developing friendships between classes, buddy tutoring, developing our skills of self-control, forward planning, accepting defeat, winning graciously, concentration, strategic thinking, problem solving.
