Following the School Library Grant webinar, we have created a "Reading for Pleasure" board which gives recommendations of various books based on authors they enjoy. We are very excited to discover some Irish author also! We love to read in Garrafrauns N.S!

We have been working hard in 1st and 2nd class this month on our literacy stations. 1: comprehension station 2:familiar reading/ reading fluency station 3. ICT station: literacy games station 4: Handwriting/ letter formation station 5: Tricky words/ spelling and dictation station This week, children from 1st- 6th class, were assigned the task of designing and constructing a robot from recycled materials. They then showcased their robots to the rest of the school. What creative and imaginative designs! Well done for putting in such effort this week with the maths project!  |
