The pupils of 5th and 6th introduced "The Pawn" to 1st and 2nd class. They explained how the pawn moves, how it captures and even showed them the coordinates on the board! We all worked on our skills of respect, eye-contact, listening, following instructions, turn-taking, accepting defeat, forward planning and patience. We can't wait for next week! :)  We have started our Personal Journals for the school year ahead. We can write positive affirmations and our worries into the journal. We hope to boost our self- esteem , self-confidence and self worth! Boosting positivity in Garrafrauns N.S!! :)  |
