STEM: Living Things: Human Life: Teeth

1st and 2nd class learned about the function and structure of teeth. They researched how to look after their teeth properly. Look at the 3D models of teeth they made.

TABLE TENNIS WEEK: As part of Active Week 2023 we organised a table tennis tournament for the school. We had great fun! #tabletennisireland

ACTIVE WEEK: 3rd- 6th class participated in the "Dare to Believe Olympic Schools Programme" where we met two of Irelands top Olympians Rhys McClenaghan and Olympic Medalist Aidan Walsh.

Our Wellness Mural: We all helped to design and paint a Wellness Mural in our school reception area. We included positive quotes and affirmations in it. What an achievement!

COMMUNITY GAMES: Well done to all our pupils who participated in the Community Games handwriting, swimming and art. Here are some samples of work completed!

RSA TALK: Road Safety Authority gave a talk today in all classes focusing on road safety when walking, cycling and driving.

STEM: Aerodynamics: Design and construct a paper aeroplane. Experiment with various designs to see which will stay in the air the longest. Delta, Classic Dart and Arrow designs.

STEM: Maths Trail: 5th and 6th participated in a maths trail around the school today. We had great fun outside in the sunshine! We had to follow the map to locate the maths questions!
