BUDDY CHESS: Our 5th and 6th class pupils taught the junior and senior infants to play chess today. We focused on our pawn game this week. We worked on developing friendships, eye-contact, forward planning, decision making, giving and taking instruction, patience and concentration. Most importantly, we had loads of fun!!

We have displayed our writing samples in 1st and 2nd class and we are very excited for others to read them as they pass through our room. We were motivated to write and try our best as our work would be displayed on our "Wow Board" .

MYSELF CRESTS: 5th and 6th class created their own individual and unique crests. They picked a motto for the year ahead, identified areas they need to work on and we displayed them on our Goal Board.
