We designed and made individual rockets last week as our October project. The rain was kind enough to stop today so we could finally go and launch our rockets! What fun we had! We measured the distance travelled by the rockets and one person from each class went into a rocket launching final. We measured the length, diameter, radius and circumference of our rockets in 5th and 6th class. Children in 1st and 2nd estimated how far they thought their rocket would travel. Well done on the unique and creative rocket designs!
