The children all looked fantastic for Halloween. It was a very spooky classroom!!
We had great fun mixing colours, cutting and sticking to create our pumpkins and spiders for Halloween.
We are participating in short, PDST visualisations each day in class. It is a calming and relaxing way to end our busy school day! We are mindful and considerate of others during this time as we are all entitled to some quiet time! Keep up the great work!
So far we have participated in:
ART: PAINTING: We are experimenting with the warm colours of red and yellow to create orange for our Autumn Sunsets
SCIENCE: STEM: We are observing our ant colony daily and recording what we observe. We are also drawing and labelling diagrams of what we see. We will research ants this week and complete an ant report in literacy.
ART: Sketching cows and pigs. We are very interested in farming around Garrafrauns and today we sketched some farm animals experimenting with line and shading.
Science: Plants and Animals: STEM. We are preparing our ant farm and very excited for the arrival of our ant colony and to learn all about them!
Pointillism art: 5th and 6th class enjoyed experimenting with a variety of objects to create their amazing works of art!
A huge thank you to all those who helped to paint, decorate and improve our school grounds in 2020! The staff, parents and children are delighted with the colourful and welcoming ambience! We appreciate it so much!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Fundamental Movement Skills: We are all enjoying the new climbing frame that has been installed! Junior classes
