We designed our own tin foil boat and estimated how many marbles/ plastic bears it would take until it sank. We watched a video explaining buoyancy and mass. We picked out two new Talktime words for our Word Wall- "reinforce" and "cargo". We tested our boat designs in a large container of water and calculated the mass by using rice. Most importantly...we all had loads of fun!
