Reading Groups: some of our readers in 5th and 6th class modelled their fluency and expression for the younger children in reading groups today! What a treat!
Christmas Plays 2017: well done to all involved in our Christmas plays this year. Here are a few pictures of our performances!
STEM: The children in 1st and 2nd showcased their boat designs to the rest of the school. We really enjoyed the floating and sinking exercise and investigating the best design for a stable boat. Well Done 1st and 2nd class!
WATCH OUT!!!! Our volcanoes are ready to erupt!! 5th and 6th class will showcase their volcanic eruptions to other classes as part of their STEM awards.
SCIENCE WEEK 2017: K'nex Workshop.....We all enjoyed using motors to power our electric cars and windmills. Part of our STEM awards.

Look at OUR STAR BAKER 2017.....Congratulations to Martha Tolley in 5th class who took part in a baking competition in the Mercy Secondary School. We look forward to seeing her on the Great Irish Bake Off in the future! Well done Martha!
We have been very active this month with gymnastics, tag- rugby and GAA. Our senior girls made it to the final against Glinsk and played really well! Our boys team bet Glinsk in their final and we went to Claregalway on the 18th October. Our football teams should be very proud of the huge effort they put in. Well done! Spooky Bat Investigations in 1st and 2nd class....5th and 6th class identified the species of bat and gave a presentation to the other classes. It was very interesting!
