Congratualtions to Aoibhinn Redington who took part in the County Athletics Competition last weekend. She was awarded bronze in both the 600m and the shot put. She was also awarded silver in the relay. What an incredible achievement! Well done to all involved!

Weight: We spent the week estimating and measuring today. We were converting kg to grams and balancing scales. We really enjoyed the true or false lollipop game based on weight facts.

Peer Tutoring in Long Division: children in 6th class are revising long division and sharing their knowledge by demonstrating the procedure for 5th class. Fantastic leadership and instructing!
History- Myths and Legends: We created cartoon strips to depict the legend of The Brown Bull of Cooley".
Kandinsky Art: Love was in the air this Valentine's Day in Garrafrauns N.S. The junior classes were inspired by the work of Kandinsky and created this beautiful artwork.
STEM: Engineering in the junior classroom. We looked at the design of our school building, discussed the materials used and drew plans of the school building.
SHOWCASING OUR AQUARIUM: 5th and 6th class pupils gave a presentation to the junior classes on the marine life in our aquarium.
